A - no head. ( it's a gravity tap cask ) dark brown soy sauce color.
S - chocolate and bacon. Malty roasted chocolate malts.
T - initially hoppy and a tad sour. Aftertaste is dry bitter and slightly numbing. Some kind of herb I wonder. Aftertaste is weakly sweet
M - loose watery from intentionally casking but slightly numbing
D - no major improvement since last review. A nice simple beer easy to drink. Cask is a neat gimmick but not special.

The roasted malt combined with such a smooth body makes this a near perfect example of this beer style. The lacing it leaves behind is leopard-spotted and gorgeous. Like a delicious cacao concoction. Definitely try it if you can find it. Swan Lake is one of my favorite Japanese brewers.
