On tap at Craftheads in Shibuya, Tokyo. Essentially, dark black body, one finger brown head, fair retention, no lacing. Smelled of rich roasted malt, a lot of umami. A bit of brown sugar, chocolate, no heat. Flavour is unfortunately all soy sauce, literally. Tons of umami, a bit of char, mild sweetness. It was hard to take this one down. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, lower carbonation, but again tons of umami on the finish. Overall, this one had more umami than Dark Lord, just a bit less sweet. This one was just tough to drink.

This review is written on a post tasting basis but will be revisited/edited when the chance comes by
A - Tapped a jet black color with a thin brown head into a large snifter glass (4)
S - Luscious nose of roasted malts, coffee and chocolates (4)
T - Well-balanced flavors of roasted malts, caramel sweetness, chocolate and coffee all nicely blended together with alcohol; very delectable and solid flavors on the whole and one of the better Imperial Stouts I've tried (5)
M - Full-bodied thickness with a creamy texture going down smooth and easy (4.5)
D - Solid flavors and feel yet such an easy drinking stout at 10% ABV (4.5)
This is on my revisit list for sure. I had not reviewed it on the spot but I'm sure I prefer this to Baird's Dark Sky Imperial Stout and Minoh's Imperial Stout
