Dark brown color with rocky brown head. Aroma has the classic black IPA combination of resiny hops, dark fruits and roasted malts, all notes blending very well together. Taste starts with some slightly astringent roasted malts and a light background sweetness, follows with resiny and slightly citric hops and finishes with a medium bitterness that lingers with roasted malt flavor. Medium plus body, medium carbonation. A really smooth and easy drinking black IPA.

It's a bit hit or miss with this brewery for me. This one seems not really hoppy for a black ipa. Quite roasty but watery, a bit out of balance. I had better in the style from French breweries
