Copenhagen 26/1 2020. 33 cl bottle from Fish & Beer, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Statues almost enshrouded in darkness on the label.

Pours dark, deep brown with almost no head. Settles as thin film of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is medium-intense but gets stronger as the beer warms up. Sweet and boozy. Brown sugar, strong odor of rum, vanilla,

Almost no carbonation. Thick, viscous, creamy, smooth, soft, fat texture.

Flavor is heavy sweet and sugary. Followed by a mild bitterness giving a little bit of balance. Aftertaste is sweet and strong. Lingering. Light boozy burn in the finish.

Thick, viscous boozer being gentle while getting me drunk.

Pitch black tan head pour. Head disappears quickly.

Smell is boozy, heavy rum, strong vanilla notes. Some dark fruit with coffee and chocolate.

Taste is the same, but vanilla more subdued and rum more present.

Feel is thick, but perhaps not quite enough.

Overall very strong barrel flavour, but not quite enough vanilla, a little to boost for me.

Overall quite boozy, not really thick nor sweet to balance the whole thing. But you get the Rum alright
