Copenhagen 1/8 2025. 33 cl bottle from Drik Beer web-shop. Black and white photo on the label depicting a barren landscape.
Pours opaque dark brown with no head. Looks like the blackest coffee. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, roasted, malty odor mingling with earthy fumes of coffee. Dark alcohol looming. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Coffee and leather. Sweet Bourbon. Hint of smoke.
Light carbonation. Thick. oily, soft, viscous, fat, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a noticeable sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is semidry with a boozy touch.
Potent coffee boozer.

Very dark brown colour, slight tan head. Smells spicy, coffee, chocolate, slight vanilla and peat. Taste is the same. Slight lingering spiciness, just right. Still thick. Good stuff, bourbon ingredients come out well, thankfully not too peated.
