Spontaneous fermentation beer brewed in December 2019. aged for two years in four Vosne-Romanée barrels. This beer expresses the full potential of the brewery's environment.
BBD:2 23.06.2 2041 Batch No.:1 10A2022
Beer ingredients: Water, raw barley malt and wheat from farm oats, hops, yeast.
75 cl bottle, shared, poured into wine glasses at Bear’s House brewpub in Toulouse, France.
No head. Golden brew.
Nose is grapes and floral white wine.
Taste is expressive and very wine. There’s a super tart, but not quite sour thing going on. Good sipping. Very French feeling.
Mouthfeel is light but full, high carbonation abounds.
Overall, yes, there is terroir in beer making, and this is a true example of producing a wild ale with all local- sourced elements. Well done.
