Copenhagen 20/6 2020. 33 cl bottle from Mikkeller web-shop. Quite a zoo on the label with tigers, antilopes, elephants and even a turkey. That is the way it has to be when you coproduce beer with Zoobrew.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Disappears more or less leaving small patches of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet odor complemented by a woody, boozy scent of dark alcohol. Brown sugar, roasted malts, sweet bourbon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy tang. Finish is rich, sweet and laden with alcohol.
I assume that the name of the beer refers to the the state I will be in after drinking a six-pack of this brew feeling an irresistible urge to tell my own drunken version of the truth.
