Beer made from a blend of two red wine barrels, aged 2 and 3 years, fermented spontaneously and mixed. Mirabelle plums from Nancy, from an orchard in the Yonne region near the brewery, were added for a 3-month maceration period before bottling.

Copenhagen 31/8 2025. 75 cl bottle with a cork stopper from Drik Beer web-shop. Water color of a an orange Mirabelle plum tree on the white label.

Pours opaque unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Bubbly. Disappears completely after a few seconds. No lacing.

Aroma is fairly intense with sweet slightly boozy, fruity odor mingling with more subtle tart notes. Sweet ripe plums with a touch of sugar. Fermentes vibe. tart gooseberries, citrus.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft yet lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a light fruity and sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.

Elegant tart plum wine.
