Aptly named/does what is says on the tin.
A: Clear gold with a modest head.
S: Big, bright, dank. Grapefruity. Emphatically West Coast.
T: Big, bright, bitter, dank. Medium crackery pale malt backbone. Bit of spice. Lingering bitterness.
F: Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Has a hoppy bite, feel-wise.
O: It’s 1996 and you’re drinking an IPA! Not a bad way to be.

L: Hazy deep gold body with a white 2 finger head. A bunch of white floaters. Wasn’t expecting the haze for a “west coast” beer.
S: Caramel malt, citrusy hops. Not a big nose.
T: Floral hops, grapefruit pith, dank.
F: Medium bodied. Finishes dry with lingering bitterness.
O: A good beer with great can art.

Gold with chill haze, white head, retention is lacking, nice lace though
Smells like 5 Alive, if anyone remembers that
Tastes like white grapefruit. A little boozy
Medium-light bodied, carbonation is a little low, hot
I liked it until I could taste the higher alcohols

Single 12 oz can with Rocko's Modern Life knockoff art. No expiry date.
Pour is a bright orange, medium fizz, very nice white head.
Aroma is contemporary, fruit-forward hops without much balance. Pleasant but nothing to write home about.
Flavor is the aforementioned fruity hops up front--bright and pleasant--an ashen middle that doesn't really balance stuff out, and then tropical fruit on the finish.
It's okay.

Hazy amber appearance with a small head and light lacing. Strange aroma can be both irritating and intriguing; dank, bready, musky, hints of leather and cheap after shave. Just does not seem to mesh. Taste pulls it together a tiny bit with a solid biscuit like malt profile, maybe rye, some pepper, indistinguishable hops but something is still not copacetic. Finishes dry with a medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel.
