Hook Line and Drinker – IPA – Fiddlin’ Fish Brewing, Winston Salem, NC
I went into my local bottle shop today to buy some beer to blog about and I saw this new (to me) IPA from Fiddlin’ Fish on tap. I decided to sit down and enjoy one, especially after seeing the lack of beer that they possessed due to covid-19 lack of sales. The Hook Line and Drinker is a 7.1% lighter IPA with 60 IBUs. The Hook Line and Drinker is brewed with Ekuanot, Amarillo, Centennial, Motueka, Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, and Pacific Jade hops. This guy is loaded, but is a little lighter than I typically prefer. I would definitely buy another! I will give this slammable beer a 7.8 out of 10.0, and Beer Advocate gives this one a 7.9.
