A: Pours a hazy straw yellow color with 2 fingers of head that slowly fades down to a nice cap that leaves good lacing

S: Citrus, pine, bready malt, and a touch of yeasty esters. On the mild side

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus, pine, and moderate bitterness. The bready malt comes through lightly with the yeasty undertone. Some light floral notes in there as well. Finishes with lingering light bitterness and yeasty esters

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A solid pale ale that is easy to drink and has a good hop presence

On tap at Blaze in Bar Harbor, ME.

This one pours a very hazy light orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like bitter piney hops, a bit of mineral character, and juicy citrus.

This is really clean and pleasant pale ale. There's a surprising level of bitterness for this brewery, but there's still a nice dried stone fruit and juicy grapefruit thing going as well.

This is light bodied, crisp and very clean, with a good level of bitterness.

This is definitely an excellent pale ale- this is a brewery to watch out for.

8/11/18...pours gold with heavy thick laced white foam. Bitter burn in the nose. Smooth fruity malt, which backs the flavor nicely. Some citrus behind it as well. Nice taste, even keeled.

canned 7/18/18 - possibly the first batch

Pours a cloudy bright gold color with a 2 finger off white head that leaves great lacing.

The aroma has fragrant notes of orange blossom. Very pleasant.

Taste has orange and grapefruit notes up front along with a little bit of grape adding tartness. This flavor tends to sticks around into the finish, so a nice clean flavor that doesn't morph. A light bitterness can be detected in the finish as well.

As a pale ale this one has a pretty full and thick feel to it, very soft and a touch of seltzer done just right.

Gotta say this is a fantastic beer from Battery Steele. They make quality beer but I feel much of their earlier ales have a similar feel and taste. This changed with the Onsight rotational series and if this remains as one of their prime line up I will be picking this up regularly as I hit the other neighboring breweries on Industrial Way. I feel the APA category has room for a brewery to make their mark in the Portland scene and this is definitely a challenge line in the sand. Nice work guys!
