Pours a very cloudy orange gold color with a 1 finger biscuit head.
Aroma has dense notes of orange and nectarine and pine
The taste is very bitter up front - something unusual these days for a NEIPA. Probably too bitter TBH. It gives way mid-taste to the hops, but really it all tastes like pine pitch with an inkling of tropical behind it. The finish finally gets the nectarine/peach notes - not a terrible finish taste I suppose.
Feel is soft and a little seltzery with a butt-load of bitterness/tartness.
Well this is a different beer than what's out there, so if you are bored with the same old stuff you should try it. The bitterness reminds me of the extreme bitterness craze a few years back except there is some fruit flavor behind it now. Bottom line is I'm glad I was able to buy just one instead of the 4-pack.
