16oz can with no date, purchased at the brewery on October 16th. Opened 11-3-23.
2+ finger eggshell white head with very good retention. Orange and opaque body.
Bitter orange rind plus blueberry and cream in the aroma.
Orange juice and peel with a hint of coconut and vanilla dough.
Medium plus body, soft mouthfeel with a nice pop of moderate but lingering bitterness. Finish is medium length with alternating citrus and bitter grippiness. Some heat but not much burn.
Very Good.

This is everything I want in a hazy.
Look: opaque yellow, whatever
Smell; intriguingly herbal with strong tropical fruit undertones. As it warms I am starting to think about pesto, so I'm going to say "allium."
Taste: Herbs/dankness still there but stepping back. Smooth, ripe pineapple, creamy coconut. A little tap of bitterness says hi.
Feel: smooth and plush.
Overall: this is kinda perfect for me. Glad I didn't stop after Austin St :)

Picked-up a single can at Craft Beer Cellar in Plymouth for about five dollars. Solid brew.

Poured from a can dated 4/29/2021. Collaboration between Battery Steele (Portland ME) and Cinderlands Brewery (Pittsburgh PA) - it's my first reviewed beer from either brewery.
Looks like a typical NE-style IPA, opaque light orange, thick white head and some residual suds and lacing.
Smell and taste are heavy on hops, some tropical fruits with some herbal/dank quality. My wife picked up some weird spice character but I didn't notice it.
Feels medium-bodied and slick with hop oils. Some bitterness and warm alcohol presence.
Overall very tasty, glad I picked it up! I'll definitely look for more from these breweries.

Poured aggressively into a tulip glass. Very little carbonation that faded quickly. There were no legs on the glass. Looks a little flat and could use a carbonation boost. Canned on 12/7/20. Lovely flavors, somewhat light body with a nice piney residue. Nice brew but needs a kick of foam. Well done.

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 5/04/2020. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves massive gobs of lace is it slowly settles. 4.5
Smell is passion fruit, stone fruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, blueberry, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.5
Taste follows stone fruit, pineapple, tangerine, passion fruit, mango, blueberry, apricot, and some slightly bitter grapefruit in the lingering finish. 4.5
Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, soft gentle carbonation, a tad sticky, and goes down rather easy, but may drink slightly bigger than 8%. 4.75
Overall this is a very nice NEDIPA. Another beer that stands out and is tasty, but in a different and excellent way. 4.5

Pours bright gold color with a one finger cream colored silky head. Aroma is rich and sharp with tropical fruit. The flavor has more subtle additions. The coconut flavor from the sabro blends well with the pineapple flavors - note that the pineapple is not overly sweet, so it has a more crisp fresh feel. I get some grass in there as well. Description says mango and papaya too, but it is very subtle IMO. Feel.is soft but not sticky, so comes across as a little crisp.
This is really a great beer all around. So glad they made it again as I missed this the first time around. I love that it is not overly sweet, which is what some breweries have done with sabro to get the pina colada effect. Not here though - this is well balanced all around
