Burnt and booze is all the flavor profile. There's a hint of vanilla. It's one of the worst beers I've had in a while. Made my account just to say that. The rest is expected for an 8% Imp Stout.

6 oz mini-snifter draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. For a pastry stout, this is solid but nothing special or memorable. Milk chocolate, vanilla, spices, dark roasted malt, more sweet than bitter. Creamy mouthfeel, not cloying. Paired nicely with a chocolate mousse dessert.

Perhaps predictably, the cinnamon and nutmeg overpower the cacao and vanilla just a bit. It's a very tasty beer, but the dry spice is a bit much. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, but not particularly thick.
