Tap pour at the taproom. 4oz pour in a snifter glass.
Black colored body. Bubbly khaki colored head which retreats to an island and high reaching ring. Leaves behind many lacing spots.
Aroma is sweet roasted chocolate malts, citrus, and pine.
Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, and pine resin. Grapefruit citrus joins in. All continue in the aftertaste but the pine resin comes to the fore.
Medium mouthfeel. Gets clean and dry with the dankness. Very good carbonation.
Good for style with the malts, citrus, and pine dankness.

On draft at Fringe. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee and sharp piney notes. Nice roasted malt taste with pine, toffee and sweet chocolate taste.
