Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Amber brown colored body. Good cascade with the pour. Long lasting, creamy, khaki head. Foam piles up on the drinking side of the glass.
Aroma of roasted malts, sweet chocolate, and dark roast coffee.
Taste is sweet but invaded by the bitterness of the dark roast coffee. Roasted malt base. Distinct flavors of milk chocolate and dark roast coffee. Mostly coffee lingers in ythe aftertaste.
More than medium mouthfeel. Creamy and smooth texture. Coffee bitterness but balanced by the sweeter aspects. Nitro-type carbonation.
Made to stylethat allows the coffee to express.

On tap at Fringe. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy lace on the glass. It smelled strongly of roasted coffee with chocolate and caramel notes. Bold, roasted coffee taste with sweet chocolate and a very low bitterness.

Nitro pour.
Pours black with a finger of long, long, long lasting off-white foam. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, and roasted and toasted malts. It has that certain dry, sweetness from a nitro pour. Flavor profile carries notes of roasted and toasted malts followed up by smooth coffee and chocolate. Mouth feel is velvety, creamy and smooth. It's wrapped up with a medium-thick consistency that offers a touch of comfort, without filling up the gut too quick. Overall, the tolerances have been tightened up on this one, offering up a tasty, well-executed nitro coffee stout.
