Prost! Raise a stein and hold it in the air in praise of one of our favorite styles. The smooth malty backbone and noble hops make you want to break out the lederhosen.

Clear bright amber color with a modest but lasting white head and some bits of lacing.
The aroma is caramel with some bright herbal notes.
The taste is also malty caramel and toffee with a floral/herbal finish, slightly sweet, mild bitterness, nice balance.
The body is light, good carbonation, smooth and very drinkable. Altogether, this is a very tasty and refreshing marzen, certainly suitable for an Oktoberfest, should go well with most foods, especially hearty fare, well done.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled malty with toffee and caramel. Nice roasted malt taste with some light bitterness.
