Canned 10/1/25. Poured at 48 degrees.
Look: Hazy mustard with a medium white head that has good retention and leaves nice lacing.
Smell: Light hops with a delicate sweetness coming through. Good, but not very strong.
Taste: Follows the nose but more pronounced with both the hoppiness and the sweetness on the finish coming through stronger. Quite tasty.
Feel: High in the mouth with softer medium carbonation. Very drinkable.
Overall: A solid brew with good drinkability. Unfortunately, the cans explode upon opening, just like all other Alibi made brews. Brings the beer down a bit in my mind, but I'd still recommend trying it.

Once again, the almighty bArF adds yet another beer to this Next Glass owned database. Its a unique thing for me to write a review so quick, but hey hey. Had this one at the Reno Aces game on Sunday. We won 6-2. I had this beer as the second pint of the game. It was also the second time I've had the beer, the tap version in South Lake was better than the can at the game. This will be an average of the scores.
Pours darker than expected for a cold ipa. Crystal malt laden cold ipa, can't say I recall that being a thing before. The aroma was also mostly crystal malt. There is a dearth of information related to the hop choice(s) for this beer. It didn't really smell hoppy, like I said, the caramel crystal malt notes dominated the nose.
Taste contradicted the commercial tug job, it wasn't less bitter, it just felt like a big old school 100 ibu crystal malt bomb ipa from 2-3 decades ago. No can date on it, not my fault. This is a rare occasion where I preferred a brewery's hazy ipa over their west coast or cold ipa.
