Copenhagen 3/9 2019. 50 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard (Web-shop). Two Tigers in Bath ropes drinking coffee together.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as flimsy layer of almost transparent foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, candy-like and lazed with marzipan. Sugary almond, chocolate, hints of mint. Light tart notes lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Soft, smooth, medium thick, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter sweet with the sweetness winning out. Lingering.
Quite sweet Marzipan Bomb - but a solid bitterness saves the day.
