Copenhagen 30/7 2017. 75 cl bottle from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. As "Lug Bière Blanche". Looks almost like a wine bottle with label saying "LUG" in capital letters and the small symbol from Nature et Progres to signify that the beer is produced in accordance with their production standard for beer.
Very bubbly and foamy upon opening. Pours opaque hazy yellow with big bubbly white head. Settles as thin fine layer of foam covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is intensely tart citrus, high acidity with more subdued sweetness in the background.
Soft carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by medium sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sour and citric.
A little thin and one-dimensional but easy to drink summer beer.
