A - crystal clear golden amber with a thin off white head
S - almost a maple aroma, sweet malts
T - starts of with a malt sweetness and finishes with notes of corn, maple syrup, and butterscotch.
M - medium bodied with medium carbonation
O - maybe I shouldn't have had it after the IPA but this verged on undrinkable for me, although my friend loved it.

A: Served a nice amber color with a small head and no lacing. It came with a wedge of lime which I discarded.
S: Has a faint aroma of malt sweetness and a bit fruity, probably from the lime wedge.
T: Taste consists of a mild sweetness and just a faint trace of bitterness. Has a dry finish.
F: Light body, smooth but sort of bland.
O: Decent drinker as it goes down easy. Would make a nice session beer. I guess the lime is to hide a bit of the blandness.

Appearance - Ruby amber body with lots of visible carbonation. Small white lace.
Smell - Light, sweet smell. Almost like strawberries.
Taste - Good for the style, beats other more mainstream vienna lagers like Dos Equis Amber, but not by a whole lot. Barely noticeable bitterness. Slight hoppiness. A little boring, but enjoyable.
Mouthfeel - Good carbonation. Maybe a tad slightly fuller body than mainstream vienna lagers.
Drinkability - Easy enough to drink to be a session, but a little too boring to be a first pick.

explained to me that it was light a Dos Equix style of beer
A: light brown, slight cloudiness
S: sweet malt, caramelized malt, slight oxidation, almost like Irish red from same brewery
T: very little hops, very light, sweet not lager at all
D&M: for a lager it was not true to type at all

Aroma: They serve it with lime, which is a nice addition, but overpowers any other smells, even after the lime is out.
Appearance: Clear dark gold glass with a thin white head that doesnt last.
Flavor: There is a nice honey flavor that really surprised me. I agree with the Vienna lager category on this one. I expected a bland lager and got a surprisingly rich flavor.
Mouthfeel: Light body and good carbonation
Overall Impression: The Borderland Lager was the pick of the litter for me. I was surprised!

Clear light gold with good carbonation and a light malty aroma and flavor. Light in body. Pretty much light in everything - overall not bad but certainly not strong enough to come back to.
Per Jaxon's website: Amber in color. A light-bodied Mexican-style Lager. Our most popular brew. Served with a lime. Approximately 3.5 % alcohol/weight.
