Served in a pint glass so when it arrived at the table there wasn't much of a head on it, but a light lacing lasted quite a while during the time spent drinking it. A light sweet roasted caramel malt aroma transferred well into the drinking of this beer.
The taste was light roasted caramel with almost hints or light enough to be hints of sweet corn syrup. This beer reminded me of a freshly brewed batch of Amber Bock without the slight burnt taste that stuff has.
The aftertaste was very light and very dry with a hint of caramel, I was very pleased with this beer. I should rate it higher but normally I'm a IPA drinker but they were out of theirs so I migrated away and was happy to have had the chance to try this beer, I hope for their regular customers that it always tastes this good.

This came with a big, fluffy, ecru head with decent retention. The color was a medium-amber with NE-quality clarity. The nose had a malty sweetness. The mouthfeel was medium with a mostly malty taste in the mouth. The finish was lightly sweet with a refreshing quality to it. Not bad. Two for two at Jaxon's!

Menu lists this as 4.5% abv.
Aroma: Mild aroma, there is a slight caramel note, but little else.
Appearance: Good collar of white circles a slightly chill hazed amber glass. The collar lasted and gave up some lace as eye candy.
Flavor: Toasted malt nicely balanced by a gentle hop with a hint of honey in the middle of the taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium body and a lingering mouth coat.
Overall Impression: Tasty! Unfortunately there is a touch of metal somewhere in there, possibly due to the hops.

Golden color with a decent light tan head. Light buttery aroma and flavor kind of ruins it and is just a bit too much for me. No hop character noticed.
Per Jaxon's website: Rich amber color and firm malt body. This ale is balanced by a spicy hop background. Finishes clean! Approximately 4.5% alcohol/ weight
