Poured from the tap at the brewery. The appearance is a dark mahogany brown with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet malt. The taste is mild malt. I wish the malt had a more roasted flavor.

On tap at Southern Hops, Florence SC
Pours deep cocoa bean brown with scant head, slight lacing.
Nutty, coffee, toasty aroma.
Nice toasty, coffee taste with strong nut note. I had to go to the brewery website to find out there's a pistachio addition.
Slight bitter aftertaste, very flavorful.
Good nutty porter. Looking forward to trying more Rusty Bull.
