Served straight from the cask it has a rather flat appearance. From the Handpump it has a semblance of a thin white whispy head. The interesting aspect of the Handpump dispense is the rather unique 3-D Handpump Clip a real red-clay ceramic half Flower Pot (from the name of the BrewPub) with a flower protruding from it!
Traditional clear brown to amber colored bitter beer with a slightly off-white collar like head.
Malty nose with some hops and a fresh country smell, as well as fresh baked bread hints.
Exceptionally clean drinking beer. Superbly balanced. The perfect mix of malts and hops for an English Bitter. 3.8%ABV - Supreme & Quite remarkable.
Fantastic mouthfeel for a sub-4% beer, well-above average offering for the discerning Cask Bitter palate.
One of the *very* best English Session Bitters that I have ever had the pleasure to drink.
A Whenever I See It I Have It!! beer.
