Paramonas 23/7 2022. 50 cl can from COOP in Agios Mathaios. White can with the mandatory Corn ears a gold medal from Beer Lovers Choice” and the reassuring tagline “Original taste makes everything better”.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and dominated by a sweet malty odor mingling with a chemical scent. Sweet pale malts, bread and cardboard. Glue. Touch of sulphur.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, soft and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite sweet and a tad watery. If it’s cold enough you can ignore the chemical tang.
