On tap at Handle Bar in Chico 4-28-23
Very solid hazy NE IPA with big pineapple, mango, melon and orange juice notes on top of a nice biscuity malt to round it out just enough. It's juicy and tropical and full of the citrusy goodness I want in this style but has the spicy piney hop bitterness on the finish to clean things up and give it structure. Nicely done Fort Rock I like this!

Canned 05/25/18
Appearance - Pours hazy and dull orange in color with a white, near finger width head that doesn't stay around long, dissipating to a mostly barren surface with a thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass within half a minute or so. No lacing.
Smell - Nice aroma, with hints of orange, pineapple, mango and a light piney undertone.
Taste - Follows the nose. Even keeled, juicy orange with lesser mango and pineapple. Distant piney character that adds just enough interesting earthiness. Finish is juicy with a mild spice bite.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a somewhat dry finish.
Overall - After having the Lights Out IPA (and only having time for one before I had to leave) I wasn't sure if this brewery had something special to offer but this canned offering very much proves me wrong, This is a hell of a solid hazy IPA. Will drink again.
