Its a decent DIPA. Its malty, hoppy, and boozy. You can feel the booziness but not in a gross way (adds warmth). Overall it's kinda a generic double; you enjoy it while drinking but immediately forget about it. I'd be stoked to see this at my favorite restaurant but I'd look past it at the liquor store.

On tap at Fort Rock Brewing...not overly impressed with this DIPA. Drinkable, but not having any notes/characteristics the made you want to come back for more.

Appearance - Pours crystal clear and pure golden in color with an off-white, finger width head that dissipates rather quickly to reveal a mostly barren surface with a thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A small handful of spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Citrus, pine, light biscuity malt and faint cattiness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mostly orange and white grapefruit with underlying lightly toasted malt, lesser pine and cattiness. Not much changes from start to finish, and it all fades together in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. Slick, fluid drinker makes it easy to down with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Good, solid DIPA. I'd definitely drink it again, but nothing I'd seek out specifically. Almost reminds me of an Alpine DIPA, but the malt profile isn't quite as toasty.
