Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and golden yellow in color with a white, half finger width head, fizzing away rather quickly to reveal a mostly barren surface. No lacing.
Smell - Light, bright citrusy aroma with hints of bready, crackery malts.
Taste - Citrusy with notes of orange, tangerine and a touch of lemon zest. some bready malts. Lightly pithy finish. Not much else.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with light, spritzy carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a crisp and mostly dry finish.
Overall - I keep thinking I might run into another good brut like I did with Bikedog Nameless, but I'm coming to the realization that it might be the only interesting one out there. Plenty of IPAs with great body that don't sacrifice flavor like these Bruts do.
