Had on-tap at Fort Rock Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, hazy and mellow gold in color with an off-white, broken layer of suds floating atop. Fair lacing with broken webbing, lines and spotting.
Smell - Fair, juicy aroma. Melon, mild mango, hint of orange.
Taste - Follows the nose. Juicy, but really mellow fruity notes; melon and mango being most prominent. Hints of citrus and pineapple come through near the finish. Aftertaste is mildly yeasty.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a dry, slightly chalky finish.
Overall - Nice, easy drinker with a good amount of mellow juiciness. They've made some decent hazy brews before this, but this is the closest to a true NE-style that I've had from them.
