Had on tap at Fort Rock Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a standard pint, slight haze and golden orange with an off-white, thin layer of suds, thickening up at the edge of the glass. Fair lacing with broken webbing, lines stretching vertically, and a handful of small spots found just outside the webbing. 4
SmellĀ - Moderate aroma with notes of orange, caramel, slight spice and floral character.
Taste - Orange-centric hoppiness with lesser stonefruit & hints of earthen dank. Fair caramel malt backbone. Finish finds a bit of peach mixing it up with light pith bitterness and a fading caramel sweetness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Love me that citrus/caramel flavor combo in my IPAs. Throw in a splash of peach and you've got a simple, but tasty flavor.
