Canned 10/23/20
Appearance - Pours crystal clear and pure gold in color with a white, near finger width head. Sub-par retention, resulting in a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface, thickening up into a ring around the edge of the glass. Not much for lacing, save a few broken lines and a minimal spotting.
Smell - Citrusy, fruity and lesser dank beneath. Bready malts add some sweetness to the nose.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fruity, with orange, apple-ish esters and a touch of pineapple. Underlying dank quality. Fair bready malt backbone. Mild grapefruit pith bitterness emerges in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, silky texture makes this go down with great ease, and begs to be sipped again.
Overall - Solid West Coaster. Nice flavor. Super smooth, likely owing greatly to the wheat used in the malt mash. I would certainly drink this again.
