Canned 10/23/20
Appearance - Pours hazy and faded orange in color with an off-white, half-finger width head that fizzes away somewhat quickly, leaving an isand of suds in the middle of the glass, and a thin ring around the edge. A few small spots make up a sparse lacing.
Smell - White grapefruit, pineapple, some yeast.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mostly a white grapefruit flavor, with lesser pineapple, and some estery yeast notes. Finishes with a slightly acidic bite.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker before a sharp, semi-dry finish.
Overall - Really goes to show how different brewing methods can make such an impact, even when the ingredients are basically the same. This is much different than the Stanman vs Hop Goblin West Coat IPA, even though it's the same 3 hops being used.
