Appearance - Pours murky and salmon pink in color with a white, near finger width head that displays sub-par retention before dying down to a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface, while forming a fair ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - The aroma gives off notes of berry fruitiness, lightly tart and a hint of sugary sweetness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Lightly tart, with hints of raspberry and cranberry upfront and throughout. Touch of artificial watermelon as it rounds into the finish. Lightly sweet and acidic aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with low, lightly tingly carbonation. Smooth, though a bit watery; the cranberry helps to give it some dryness in the finish.
Overall - Rose wine inspired, and while I'm not sure they quite nailed it on the head, I can see it. I think a bit more strength in flavor and carbonation would make this work a lot better.
