Appearance - Pours hazy and dull orange in color, with a frothy, near two-finger width head that settles in fair time, resulting in a thin, broken layer of suds with a fair ring around the edge of the glass. Lacing displays some broken webbing and a handful of spots.
Smell - Mellow but fruity notes of orange, pineapple, mango and starfuit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Pleasant hints of tropical fruitiness in delivering orange, pineapple and mango, but strength is lacking. Finish adds a hint of tartness, but not much past what's already there.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker with an easy, quaffable finish. Sip it? You could chug it.
Overall - Not an especially potent NEIPA, but what's there is nice for what it is. Like listening to a great tune with the volume turned down. They need to crank up the flavors here to really speak to the soul.
