With all the great stuff coming out of New Era and Fort Rock lately, you could just stock the ice chest with Sacramento-area beers and be pretty damn happy IMO. Fort Rock's Straight Outta Rancho is a fantastic IPA that I hope they make again - pours with a generous head but it magically settles down pretty quickly. Not super aggressive on the nose but the hops come at your strong and fast - more pine than citrus, delightfully puckery (if that's your thing), a 'hard' bitterness that reminds me of Stone IPA...which I think is high praise. If this is your daily drinker IPA, you're doing it right. I regularly see this at Total for $12.99 and it's a steal at that price.
