A - Pours almost as clear as water with a two finger white head.. Leaves decent lacing.

S - Munich malts, adjuncts, pale malt, slight cheap hops

T - Pale malt up front, slightly adjucty up next, cheap hops in the middle and a slightly adjuncty finish.

M - Thin bodied with moderate carbonation.

O - Overall, It wasn't bad but this beer is marked under the wrong brewery. Very basic beer with no offensive flavors. Sessionable, but nothing crafty. I'd have again with a steak or something.

"Brewed and bottled for the Detroit Brewing Co" by Liquid Manufacturing in Brighton, Mi.
$1.69 for a 12oz bottle @ Bevco.
OG=13.3, 35 IBU.
Bottled on jul2012

Pours out to a slightly hazy clear pale golden, forming a nice rocky white head with average retention and mild lacing. Carbonation is moderate, ~2.5 carbs. The aroma starts with floral hops, a clean ferment, mild sulfur, and a little DMS. Nice balanced nose I would expect for a pils. Mouthfeel is crisp, clean and soft. The taste is very nice...a recap of the nose, with a very crisp and well-balanced bitterness, clean finish, no perceptible off-flavors, and only minimal DMS. Very easy to drink.

Pleasantly surprised from this no-name contract brew! This is a world-class pils, that even at 3 months old, tastes wonderful. Considering the price, I would pick this up over most imports as well as the better american brewed pils from GLBC, Victory, Lagunitas, and Avery. Highly recommended!
