Stopped in because I thought it would be cool to check out. Empty. Very much felt like other natural food/vegetarian/vegan cafe type spaces that have a community based around them. Service was very excellent and they lady working there was patient in explaining everything. Had their pale ale and am glad I sat outside so that I could pour it into the gutter. Was horrible.

The Vegetable Hunter is a small place with some outdoor seating (I'm not sure if that's just during the coronavirus pandemic or always) on N. 2nd Street just a few steps from the Capitol.
It's got a bit of an unfinished feel in terms of decor, and I think that might just be the case. Still, it's pleasant and comfortable.
As you step inside there's a counter to the left where you place your order, and then you can take a seat in back or outside and they'll bring everything out to you when it's ready.
The food is vegan, and currently limited, but includes items such as a Bahn Mi Sandwich ($12.50), Quinoa Blackbean Burger ($11.99), and Pesto Mac & Cheese Pita ($11.99). I had the Bahn Mi and thought it was excellent!
There were 8 beers available on my visit including a Brett-made blueberry sour, a cranberry porter, an ESB, a double IPA, and an Imperial brown ale.

Tiny store front brew/cafe with order counter and a half dozen tables inside and a few on the sidewalk. Only 4 beers on tap, the two I had were solid. Friendly service. Great veggie food, very tasty.
