Vanessa House Beer Company

I visited Vanessa House almost two months ago now while exploring Oklahoma City; my first stop in a new city! The taproom is bright and airy with murals and kind of minimalist furnishings, but welcomeing nonetheless. Service was great, I had a great conversation with the bartender Ethan, and also chatted with the few other customers that were there at the bar.

They only had four beers on when I visited, plus a cider and a hard seltzer: helles, dunkel lager, barleywine, and imperial stout; evidently they sold out for some event and were just catching up with brewing. The dunkel was not bad and I rather liked the helles; if I ever get back to OKC I’d like to check out Vanessa House again and see maybe a more expanded menu.
