L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a pint glass. Had a medium brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of off white, foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A decent enough aroma of malt, honey, caramel, and a nutty quality.
T: Tasted of a bit of the typical brown ale nuttiness, some honey (not as much as expected), lots of sweet malt (present throughout), and light hops. Kind of an uneven flavor. The honey adds an interesting kick to the proceedings, but it needed more of it. Still, there's a good character in this flavor; it just needs a little more oomph.
F: A solid amount of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, but it's on the right track to being good. Worth a look.
