Fully hazy maize with a tall dense head of off-white foam.
Whoa, that has a wholly unique punch to it... quite like fruit punch. Wtf? I mean, to start, it's pretty classic smelling, almost a little oxidized, with hints of cardboard, but then it becomes very orangey-pineappley. The malt may have just been shocked by the journey and temperature changes recently, as it doesn't taste old for too long.
Taste adds lime, cranberry and a hint of evergreen, but like...what? This has characteristics I've rarely gotten from IPA. The finish is almost sparkly, dry, despite a rather frothy, wet, round middle. As I continue to dig in, I get oungent cocktail vibes, even funky, nutty yet bright luxardo liqueur.
Crazy as shit.
