Offers a clouded amber color in the glass with a small, bubbly head atop.
On the nose aromas of orange peel, fresh pressed rhubarb juice and wet hay with a note of worn leather boots on a warm spring day define the direction on this.
Mouthfeel is light and refreshing with a well nuanced, effervescent carbonation level among a light body.
Tastes of dried leaves, fresh butter and fermented white bread dough among a subtle caramel note which allows a juicy rhubarb note to cut through. The beer‘s juiciness blends well into its rustic, grainy malt foundation, blending into matured oak and lighter cheese accompanied mushrooms. Finishes with a maintaining sweet rhubarb note, slowly developing a bright, citrusy tartness creating an intriguing contrast to its mellow, rustic malt backbone.
Very well done blend between a Lambic and a Saison, topped off by a gentle rhubarb highlight, acting great as a gateway between the two different beer styles.

Poured from a bottle at Quintessence. The nose is rhubarb, lemon, and funk. The taste is juicy and sweet. Slight tartness coming through. Really enjoyable overall.

Once it warmed to room temp, it tasted like a funky orange wine. Big rhubarb and citrus notes. Went back for another and chilled wasn’t quite the same.
