CAN
Hazy amber with pocked white head. 4
Brown paper, burnt rubber, dried orange rind, mint and overripe strawberries. 3.5
Caramel thread, big hit of strawberry, tangerine, pink grapefruit, melon, passionfruit and slight grass. 4
Almost medium, sticky, oily. 4
AU035, Belma, Galaxy, Citra, Huell Melon
Sept 9th canning on NYE - for a NEIPA, 15 weeks is old. And it shows on the nose; definitely on the turn. Surprise, then, to get a ton of sugared fruit salad from a unique hop bill. First time I’ve ever tasted Belma giving strawberry (and it’s not a 5AM Saint candy thing - no crystal here) + first I’ve ever even heard of AU035. Vermont ale does its estery thing. A little fresher or a little better executed - not sure which - and this would be a world beater. One to watch. 4.25
