Pours a pale, clouded golden color with a medium sized, spongy head.
Smells of jammy raspberries, orange zest and ripe papaya among a lighter note of wet hay and lighter lemon pulp.
Has a light, refreshing mouthfeel, with quite a lively, almost metallic carbonation to it.
Tastes of dried limes, fresh washed blueberries and lighter abricot pith among a well pronounced caramel maltiness. Has a prickly mid palate with guava and kiwi coming up against additional toffee from the malt backbone in this. Finishes with a heavy dose of bakers earth and glazed toffee, together with lighter hops and an aqueous softness, ensuring a subtle dryness during the finish.
While this is quite an interesting Pale Ale, the beer tends to lacks a little in hoppy flavors during its finish, compensating this with a more pronounced, sweet maltiness.
