Our brewery's 5th release, the Precip Pils, is a German style Pilsner that showcases a prominent hop bitterness over a mellow malt sweetness.
STORY:
Our brewer has spent his share of time in German beer halls, but actually fell in love with this beer style while living in Portland, Oregon. With so many great local craft breweries competing to brew with more hops, more alcohol or more unusual ingredients, the patio at the local German beer bar became a favorite watering hole and Bitburger Pilsner became a favorite drink.

It pours golden and clear with a white head. It has very good head retention. It has plenty of malty sweet flavors up front with moderate spicing. It has a crisp finish. There are also some grainy elements as well.

Very clear slightly yellow in color. Not much head. Very light nose. Almost nonexistent smell. Taste is bready Pilsner flavor. Not as strong on Pilsner malts as most. Good beer.
