This is a traditional Bavarian wheat beer with hints of banana and clove. This beer is intentionally cloudy to highlight the wheat, which constitutes approximately 50% of the grain bill.
STORY:
German Hefe (yeast) Weizen (wheat) beers have a long history and are one of the most popular beer styles sold in Germany today. One of the writers of the 1516 German Beer Purity Law included a loophole granting exclusive, and highly profitable rights to brew beer using malted wheat. German wheat beers are not traditionally served with fruit like their blander American cousins, but feel free to ask your server or bartender to throw in a slice of orange!

Not quite like a traditional Hefeweizen, but good nonetheless
