On tap at the brewery and then again from a 16 oz crowler at home a day later. One of the best red ales I have had. I don't do subtle...I prefer obvious flavors and the coconut in this one is obvious and a nice complement to the red ale base flavors. Beautiful clear red/brown color with 1/2 finger of head. Nice coconut smell coming off the foam. Coconut flavor is most obvious upon swallowing. Nice, smooth mouthfeel with low-ish carbonation. Not sweet/ pretty clean mouthfeel. Overall I think this is an excellent selection if you want over-the-top coconut flavor supported by a nice malty red ale.
