Nice place, large open building with plenty of communal seating and what looks to be a number of outdoor areas. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty quiet, so no problem getting quick service. They had 13 beers on tap and some other non-beer selections. Selection was decent as were the APA and Hefeweizen I drank. I will probably stop in again.

I've been twice, both times on weekends. The beer geek in me is unimpressed - have sampled more than ten of their beers, only one of which was better than average. But the setting is fantastic if you are with a big group or have kids, particularly the outdoor area that is the most kid friendly I have come across. There is a big lawn and they supply soccer balls, footballs, frisbees, and cornhole along with a couple of fire pits and tons of outdoor seating in a nicely landscaped space. The indoor area is big and open with a lot of large communal tables and board games. Quite a few TVs, and they were showing the full slate of 1pm NFL games. I have a four year old, and it is the one brewery that he enjoys more than I do.

There has been one food truck there in both of my visits, and I think the only thing the actual brewery sells is popcorn, chips, snow cones, icy pops, and stuff to make smores at the fire pit.

The building and setup is somewhat similar to Vanish near Luckets in terms of size, vibe, and clientele. While I prefer the beer and BBQ at Vanish, my wife and son prefer the Farm.

Be warned about growler fills. I got one of the double IPA they had today in a metal growler. The woman who helped me was very nice but didn't seem to know much about beer or what she was doing. It took a while, which she said was because it was the end of the keg. When I got home and opened the growler, it appears as though she didn't bother to let the foam subside before capping it, because there was sign of leakage in the car and the growler isn't even half full. In the end I paid $22 for maybe 30 ounces of average beer.

Place open about a month or so.

This is a farm brewery and a little out of the way from northern Virginia. The site is nice, with the farm scenery around and a large facility for the brewery tasting room. Modern with a slight nod to the farm, the building houses a large open space with many community tables, with about a dozen TVs around the perimeter (high and out of the way). The ordering station is along one side, opposite the windowed entrance. Though we stayed inside, there was some space outside for beer, and a larger space for kids to run about.

The staff were quite friendly, though there were a couple minor things I noticed where they are still learning. Although the 30 taps were at a bar where the staff centralized, they also scouted the room as it slowed, grabbing glasses and even taking an order at one point (totally unexpected).

They had 8 beers on tap at our visit. These included 3 variants of a solid APA, and a nice, fresh DIPA. They also had an amber and an Irish red, a blonde, and a porter. The Irish red showed some potential, but the others were lacked personality.

This place seems like a nice place to get together and share a few beers with friends. It doesn't feel like a beer geek place, and I get the impression they're not trying to be. That said, I am looking forward to how their beers progress; there's definitely some promise here, and the setup seems that they could produce a mix of offerings for the crowds with some beers that would intrigue more discerning individuals.
