A well-balanced Pale Ale with a rich grain bill of Canadian Pale, British Crystal, Amber, Wheat, and Rye Malts which provide notes of biscuit, nuts, toast, and spice. Late additions of Mosaic and Chinook lend a pleasant citrus punch and balanced bitterness.

Average midle of the road pale ale. Won't offend anyone but also won't make any new raving fans. More on the malty side. Lacks a hop freshness.

Sampler glass poured as a flight at the Parksville taproom (visited 26-May-17). Clear, light brown amber with a decent head of white foam. Lots of toasted malt in the nose with some savory roast aromas, burnt caramel and citrus. Malty body with hints of caramel and plenty of hoppy lemon and grapefruit. Closes crisp with a bitter close, part hops but some slight roast bitterness too. Medium body and carbonation. Well hopped pale ale that packs a good dose of toasted malt as well.
