Clear gold body with a thin white ring and some bubble islands. You get the wet dankness of the hops with the wine barrel must, brett, and funk right away on the first sniff. Bright white grape, lemon zest, belgian yeast, and dry white wine more apparent in later wafts. Taste is a clinic in bright and dry white wine barrel's influence on a saison, with standout being the hoppy and funky finish after a delicate middle of all of elements from the smell plus a little mushroom. That being said the depth is limited, staying true to the vision: very bright and dry.
