Cloudy orange body with a head that fades into nothingness in a matter of seconds. Smells of agave, oak, flowers, orange and grapefruit zest, and barrel funk especially on the pour. Taste opens up really beautifully, the wood is so expressive, with some mellow tequila, agave, and lemon, then a wave of orange, grapefruit, funk, and flowers, all anchored by the wild yeast. Finishes dry and pithy with a kiss of tequila booze and citrus. Besides the dry finish, there are good textures from the wood tannins, yeast, and booze.
